You are a man of impecable taste there Nighthawk. I'm a relative newcomer to Duc and I'm a total convert to the good old 2 valve supersport. Did ride an st though and it was probably the most exciting tourer I've ever ridden (At that point I didn't think tourers could be exciting).

Looks real tidy too.

Did they run out of red ones?

Ducs are nice in any colour. Good choice.

I was waiting for this comment... and you thought I didn't like that we blat... I did say that I felt it was a little under powered compared to the VTR. That was the ST4 with the 916 motor... ST4s has the 996.

The bike is the same size the engine is the same physical size... it just has more power... ;)

I never said I didn't like yours... I did... it was fun, any bike is fun, but what I did say though, I felt it under powered compared to what I am use too... and that isn't a bad thing its just what I was use too.

The Fuel injection on the ST4 gives a smoother rider through the power range, the carbs (and huge carbs they were) give a dumping of fuel and you really feel it when you twist the wrist and it feels more instant... its a completely different sensation.

So what will be you next road bike...??? 9011s? Hyabusa? gonna stick with V-Twin, go inline 4, or

Oh and BTW I am sorry you can't go for a ride on the VTR like I promised... but I do know where one very tidy looking VTR is up for sale...
