Go for it Dellorto, it's different to ride being pea gravel, but it's way cool once you're 'on top'. Builds huge, soft berms and whoops for Africa.......

Awesome blast at Mercer today, mate as clmintie said, doesn't take long for the track to berm up and the whoops :woohoo: I only throw the bike away twice, broke the berm haha.

That sand is tough. Fell off 3 times in the first practice!.. Not sure the KDX is cut out for that stuff but probably more to do with the rider!.:(
Kids had a blast on their KX's on the minitrack

I wonder over to the minitrack, was looking out for the KX, thought Id catch up with you,

when they split the B group, I could fang it along with out worring Im going to crash in to some of the younger not so confident riders, My trouble is fitness, after about 5 laps of hanging on/ I like to think I was flying along, I started missing my lines, ending up higher up the berm and end up braking through,
Hey clmintie needed you taking pics I reckon I most of looked good when I did get it right.

Yeah, would have liked to be there but promised my wife we'd make today 'Mother's day' to make up for sneaking off to the Maize scramble.... we took the kids (including 19yr old, a rare treat) up to Woodhill MTB park for a ride and picnic. The trails are in perfect nick at the moment, lots of fun..... The dog enjoyed it most .....

Going to try and get to Mercer next Saturday.....

The oldest boy (your old KX) was running in the A Grade but without your old number - somebody else has already got 13, he'll be 26 next time out. Youngest boy running in B grade 99.

Couple of other photos from today attached as well - not quite as good as yours climintie but my wife is learning!..
