Back in the land of the living

Well I never thought dying would be so painless..:mellow:On Tuesday I collapsed after I had issues breathing. Im not ashmatic or anything. Fortunatly my mum ,who had moved out of the district ,decided she absolutly needed to call in to see me. I lit the fire and then I couldn't breathe! She called an ambulance, When they arrived I felt better and hobbled (broke ankle at the Cold Duck:drinknsin) out to the ambulance .:(
As got to the rear of the ambulance I collapsed,lips went blue agin and I had some sort of seisure. Dying was quite painless..very quick. While I was having a seisure someone was yelling at me to "get back!" :angry2:yet the abulance driver was calmly telling me to breathe..no white tunnel..no harps or angels lol. :slap:Once I got to A@E they did some tests ,gave me a lung and brain scan :doctor:which determined I had what is called a Sadle Pulmonary Embolus - basically a blood clot which was the size of a golf ball in my lung which had blocked two arteries to my heart. It is usually detected in an autopsy.
I was given a 50/50 chance of living. I neally stopped breathing in the CCU but made it through the night. Fortunatly a mate stayed up there and she stayed awake all night with me.
It was determined the clot had come from my break but will be doing tests as this is the second lung clot I've had in 7 years. I am lucky to be here and am so grateful my mum called in when she did. I am also grateful to the medical staff. Most of all I am grateful to all of my freinds :wavey::grouphug:who sent kind thoughts and came to visit me in hospital. I think that their stregnth is what helped me to fight this.I am still very weary and have the nurse coming everyday to administer my meds. Im looking forward to getting my bonnie running and will be back in the saddle soon.......U4EA:yes::ride:

Shit that's scary as shit.I was told similar after surgery,they hit a "bleeder"6 units in quick time and all ok,but I didn't know anything of it,unlike you being conscious at the time.Freaky and lucky for mums visits.

Gods way of saying trade up to 4 cylinders,we all know 2-3 isn't proper lol,hence firing on all(4)cylinders.
