Fish people

dad decided to clean out the fish pond over the weekend. one reason was to clean it, and the other was to do a fin count on exactly how many finny friends we have.

we knew there were heaps, but the total was rather shocking... there are around 72 fish.

there are 12 in this aquarium

theres some real nice fish in there... and quite a few are big enough they could be gutted and fried, lol. they breed each year without fail, but we had a few deformed ones last year, which i think could be inbreeding.
there was also a bucket full of snails. the resident frog was not seen and is assumed to be HIA [hybernating in action]

Had a bit of fish last night!!!!

You know, bank holiday and all that - no need to get up early :)
