This is an informal get-together (its BEARs afterall:msn-wink:) to discuss options for a rides/events and any other gos that you wish to share over a beer.

Oops, sorry, thats just what its nicknamed. It turns off Te Wharau Road where the Gladstone roadrace hillclimb event is held(just past Gladdy school on right). Then carries on further around and back into Masterton. Awesome roads!

I seem tp have forgotten the correct and proper way to go round corerns (ie fast) and am happy to sit at the back and wont evn mind if you all disappear into the sunset. Was a bit cool heading over Mt Bruce on the back way home, in fact prolly the coldest part of the ride (mind you the wind chill was up there too)
Got talking to a bloke in Shannon who had just done the exact loop and he had rain from the hutt to pahiatua, hahaha so we couldn't have timed it better !

Starting to wonder bout the 190/55 i spooned on the daytonas 51/2 rim ! I get what feels like a second tip in every now and then, thought it was something up with the front, but am wondering now that it might be the rear causing it !
Might increase the wheelbase a bit, as i can drop the forks down another ten mm to make em flush easy enough and see what happens !

Was a bit cool heading over Mt Bruce on the back way home, in fact prolly the coldest part of the ride (mind you the wind chill was up there too)
Got talking to a bloke in Shannon who had just done the exact loop and he had rain from the hutt to pahiatua, hahaha so we couldn't have timed it better !

Starting to wonder bout the 190/55 i spooned on the daytonas 51/2 rim ! I get what feels like a second tip in every now and then, thought it was something up with the front, but am wondering now that it might be the rear causing it !
Might increase the wheelbase a bit, as i can drop the forks down another ten mm to make em flush easy enough and see what happens !

Oil cooler decided it was gonna spit the dummy and spray the contents of the sump all over the joint ! Wasn't too bad but was like very obvious drips on the ground when i pulled up at the bike shop last night, on my way over !

hey guys after my crash in Feb I am finally back on the road...gee takes ages for parts to come from overseas. Does anyone have feedback on that exhaust repair place in the Horowhenua (Neptune or nautilaus???) Mine needs the scratches taken out......but I HAVE WHEELS YAHOOOOO

Like it wouldn't be a problem if i could be sure the object i see, is the left one or right one, or i could tell the distance to said object (would save on spilt bourbon too)

Sounds like it will be a fun run will be thinking of you all :ride:. On call for the horse hospital this weekend but will make it down next time. Have been meaning to try a Bears run for ages. hey Flame babe .. damn good seeing ya this morning .. sorry my shoulder & headache was not up for tackling going to lake ferry .. but next time :yes:

At least I managed to dodge the rain all the way home .. good break in Otaki .. but was not sure I could ride the rest of the way home .. but made it .. just about dropped BB though turning her on the grass, so guess thats the only ride I will be doing til the shoulder is fixed :cry:

anyhow once daylight savings rocks around will prob pop down to P & J for a few rides .. now I know where to find it as well :laugh:
