Haha cool! I will be up there with dad. We are in group two on our Yamaha machines. I may have one more spot on the trailer though for another bike so I may take my bucket as well! I will have a chat to dad and also see how much extra it would cost me to enter into two grades. Would be a bloody good laugh! The back straight on the FXR, topping out an 130km/h. Would probably be really bad for the bike am I right..? Would you ever need the brakes?

Crikey what have you been feeding that motor to go that fast!? Well I will see you at the track day anyway. I will be there if it isn't raining. If it is raining I won't bother riding. I don't want to scratch my bike!! If I have the bucket with me, I won't care about the rain and I would probably still head out.

I will look out for you when I am up there. I will be in blue and white leathers on a blue and white R6, and I will be pitting with my dad who has a red and white R1 with red and white leathers. Come over and tell me your secrets on how to get an FXR over 150km/h!

cool , ill b there in blue&white leathers and i have a green fxr150

and getting an fxr150 up to that speed isnt too tough just strip the bike down, take out starter motor and fly wheel weights, add a gn250 carb and get the exhaust to function properly and you've got you self a speed machine!

Wouldn't taupo be a little wide open for a bucket? Even on a IL4 250 road bike you're 100% throttle everywhere until you're breaking into the next corner, so a bucket would either die or be a little booring? The cart track is fun with how tight it is.

na its fun! kart tracks are too small for fxr150's, ive only ever had my bike 4 gear at mt welly and im not that slow

tim wouldnt have his bike any higher gear than that i wouldnt think......there's just so much power in modified fxr's

With a calibrated MTB speedo mid 130's are all I get. Super hot FXR's may touch 140kph.

Yup......dreaming!

And dont quote the FXR speedo they are so far out they should be illegal!

a GOOD RG150 will touch 160 down the back straight, let alone a FXR.

You barely use the brakes on a RG150 at taupo, so you shouldn't be needing em a whole lot on a fxr.
