Oops and ouch.:shit: I hope you can fight some of that (surely you had plates on the bike at least) and how do they get excessive noise when parked? Good luck with that one. Too many questions too little time.

It says No License Plate Displayed, so there might be grounds for a contest on the ticket. Just say it wasn't yours.

Bahaha, that is the city scramble date. Unless they have the engine # or frame #, I dont know how they plan on tracking down the owner without a rego plate! hah.

Love the excessive noise part.

ps: I work at the council, so if there's anything I can do...

People aren't very onto it are they...
You've edited an old one right?

#1 - 31st May wasn't a Wednesday
#2 - South side of Tyler Street was the pit lane

Is this perhaps your repair bill after competing?

Geez louise ... I have never even seen a single fine that big ... why you would park an unregistered, unwarranted, noisy bike in a one hour car park in the middle of Auckland City for 5 hours ... I have no idea.

It's a very good doctored scan if it is.

That's an impressive fine - but what were you thinking putting a bike on the road that was so obvisouly illegal.

Sounds like the fine was well deserved. :-)

I was surprised (and relieved) that all the spectator bikes parked on the footpath weren't ticketed.

I originally parked my bike legally on the street but when I went back to check on it someone had moved it so they could park there car there! :2guns: So then I moved it where all the other bikes were, On the footpath outside the cafe.

The parking wardens would have picked a pretty big argument if they had tried to ticket all the bikes on the footpath, so I figured I was safe enough - and it was better than having some car driver moving it! :shit:

Yeah! Meanies! I had it on the centre stand and the steering lock on too, so they couldn't wheel it anywhere... so they apparently just dragged it! :bash: I wish some big, hairy biker had seen them dragging my little Volty and gone over and given them a blast. Somehow I just don't think my little bike and I are intimidating enough.
