Cbr's rule

I’m down at uni so my bro and dad prepared my bike for me, went to race at the last AMCC round... fail of a day.
Firstly; my brothers bike, 1989 CBR 400 which I took out to test as it had had a bit of a nock... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o-Ht9IPJ5Y ... so i did some slow laps and it seemed fine so came in. Went to go out on my 1993 CBR 400 and it started running on two cylinders... oh joy. No need to fear, i can ride my bro’s bike, so with no qualifying i line up at the back, pass 5 people in the first lap, then one in the second, then the race got red flagged. ‘OK that felt alright’ the bike being set up for a 70kg rider, not a 105kg rider( and having suspension that doesn’t bottom out) Restart of the race... line up and off we go... lack of power down low, ‘shit a bad start’, then no power at all... Yay, pull of into the grass and go see the marshals.
We messed around with the carbs and coils/wiring... with no success, then a spare set of coils, yay. Just when they are in and the bike is going the heavens open up and the meeting is cancelled.
So two bikes with unknown problems and only one 3 lap race... great success, however i now realise why i can’t keep up with my brother, not only is he 35kg lighter his bike seems to have twice the power... checking my times i got a personal best of 1;11.91 on an unfamiliar bike with limited practice and on my bike which i have raced for three years now i have only managed 1:13.83, luckily he has a 125 now so i’ll see what i can get next season on his bike (if i don’t decide to upgrade)
Cant wait for summer
