G'day all

Just a quick intro as I've recently caught up with a long-time dream of mine.

Name's James, I live in East Auckland - Pakuranga area.

After much procrastination / saving, I've finally gotten around to buying a '09 Hyosung GT250R. So far so awesome!

Really looking forward to getting it out on the open road and getting to know the New Zealand biker community.

I'm loving the site. A lot of useful information and tips. I'll be sure to have a thorough look around and I'm sure I'll have a sh*t load of questions as I get around to going on longer rides.

I have a lot of past experience riding MX, not a lot on road bikes but I'm fixing to change that.

A couple of mates of mine have bikes. I'm hoping to convince another few to take the plunge. We're all interested in getting in on some of the rides you guys organise and also getting to know some of the hidden routes.

Cheers guys,

James.

I'm still wondering how long it will take before L Plate rider disappears off my noob profile, and I can finally be a scooter boy ... even though I am in fact a girl! Then I've got Mop[ed Rider to look forward to!

Hey funlovincrim, welcome to KB.

I do hope you are not a funlovincrim and the fact that you have bought a nice new bike makes me think you must be OK.

Do yourself and your nice shiney new bike a big favour and get some street training skills under your belt.

Good luck.
