I had my first experience riding in some thick fog early yesterday. It was pretty unreal.
Once I worked out that the reason I couldn't see was because all the mist was collecting on the front of my visor I started riding with my visor up. Then I was totally paranoid that no one would be able to see me in all the fog. Nobody gives way to the bikes as it is and the fog would just give them an excuse!!! :shifty:
:cold: The down side is that it's somewhere around 3-5 degrees when I head out in the mornings now and cruising along at 90-100 with the visor up in the cool weather made my eyes run like crazy - it was like I was bawling my eyes out! :crybaby:
Oh well! Beats sitting in the cue like all the 4-wheeled traffic!
I've attached photos taken this morning of my budgie 'Homer' who decided he'd like to nest in my helmet.
Very cute.
