Hampton Downs Accommodation

I am going to Hampton Downs in November for the CSS and looking for accommodation for a few days. Can anyone suggest a good motel/hotel to stay within a reasonable distance to the track, secure and in civilisation. I dont want to stay at the track, need to be near some life and a supermarket. Preferably north of the track, Huntly does not appeal.

Having lived in all those areas I would choose Hammytron.
Less then an hour to the track.

Surely the local prison's got spare rooms? That's pretty handy, and from what I hear, the facilities and food are excellent ...
