Yesterday was one of those brilliant riding days here - clear, still and cool with low humidity , when you can see forever.
Fueled up the ironhorse and headed off. Followed my nose for a bit and ended up way south. Worked out a nice route home, but then reality set in. I had to leave for Auckland about 1.30pm...and time was getting short. So I had to head straight back up SH1 to be back in time to travel...Now that's a boring ride. Inside I was indeed kicking and screaming and throwing a tanty about it all. Hate it when that happens...

They haven't had one in for me to test ride, dammit...

I couldn't reorganise the trip - when you are paying someone $60/hour for their time, you need to make good use thereof...
