I think its a 76. A project that I never started. Previous owner had planned to make it into a cafe racer, some bits are missing, has CB400 alloy wheels with twin disc front.
the motor was meant to have had had work done to it like cams etc, but I dont have receipts so cant prove it! I need to move it on. Open to offers..

Man when I was 14 I so wanted one of those.
Is it a runner at all or a total 'project' - pictures?

I will put pictures up Wednesday night, but please dont be fooled, it aint a Britten!
It was a runner, I did ride it when I got it but it isnt now. I had begun to strip it down and had boxes of bits at my work and one box was thrown out in error which had parts in it. So the rebuild stalled.
I will put pics up of every thing it has. Open to offers in regards to price, I think I paid 300 for it @ 15 years ago.

Opps found the old paper ownership papers, its a '73.
what you see in photos is pretty much all thats there, although it comes with the wiring thats not shown. Exhaust doesnt have muffler.
I've been looking for a winter restore project for ages. This would do the trick. How much you want, remembering you paid $300 15 years ago and lots of parts are missing.... bugger about the box that got heaved out.

Free Bump
I spy later model Comstar wheels (these look good painted black - very cafe) on the beast.
Good project potential there for a cafe or tracker styled bike.

can I just mention that apart from the chrome strip peeling and a little light over spray (comes off) on the seat, the seat is pretty mint!
I can't PM you in return as don't have enough involvement with his site yet... but your best price to date, I'll offer $50 more. How long you keeping this open for sale?
