Really bad power delivery maybe? , similar to the Kwaka H1.
Actuallty the gixxer 11 , was a lovely bike to ride, smooth power delivery, mind you the one I rode had almost given up the will to live.
As for the "no test ride". What a clown.

This is the auction that he purchaced it on three years ago.I thought it looked familar.Im sure tha reserve was $3k from memory as i was after second bike at the time as long distance 2 up tourer.I should have grabbed it while it was affordable.Could have made a tidy profit.

One of my mates bought a monster m800? off trademe without test riding it.It was running rough so he got it tuned took it home,on the back of his truck, then the following day took it out for a ride.20k later it was home again because he hates the riding position. It's now back on trademe at a bargain price!

Guys, you're missing it.
He's told his wife that, much as he hates to do it, because of her nagging, he will sell his beloved bike.
"But babe, for some reason no-one wants to buy my bike? Guess I'll have to hold onto it a bit longer yet..."

Lol, that could be the reason!

In which case he is a genius.
Must note this down for future use.

You guys are mean.
It's in "as new condition", so $12.5k is a bargain price.
Although I'm not quite sure how it can have an (alleged) 37,000km on it and yet be still new. Maybe ALL the parts have been replaced with new ones?

Maybe the bike from this thread (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=22749r) is finally up for sale!

When he bought this bike three years ago this was the script from it then.
"Good genuine reliable bike, served me well for past 5 years. History known for past 10 years. Red Baron freshened engine at 62,000km. Fitted after market exhaust and tuned it to suit engine. New WOF and registration when sold. Unable to use bike due to family growing. Reluctant sale. Near new Metzeler tyres front and rear. Happy bidding."

You would have to say the stunt photo is to explain the milage going backwards cause thats the way he rides it.

You'd be surprised. When buying my first scooter, I didn't test ride it, simply because I was so busy with work and I needed a scooter that badly. When on-selling the scooter, the girl who bought it didn't have a learner license and when I asked her why she didn't get her dad to test ride it, it hadn't even occurred to her.
