I thought the Mt welly cup was run the same weekend as the GP when it was held in Auckland?

Personally find that weather site better than any of the metservice based ones, each to there own tho.

Korea's rg/rx125. Just been trying to smooth out the kinks! Should be a bit of a laugh.
What numbers are taken at mt welly? Theres already #74 on it, do I need to change it?

Well that was um, a days racing. Was a pretty average effort by me today but with the amount of water around and only having slicks I am using that as my excuse.
Hope you are not felling too sore from your off Rob, was worried for a moment when you didnt seem to get up.
And the same goes for you Ellen, you were riding that 50 like a pro.
Hope you both heal up well.

14th June 2009, 22:27
Cricky Pumba, you were on slicks, you were looking so good I thought you must have had wets.
I hit the ground hard and I couldn't get up as the bike had my foot throughly pinned and couldn't reach the bike to lift it up.
When John and Carl freed me I was able to finish the race and collect five points.
I knew I wasn't in good shape and a bit sore but started and finished the next race too and got another five points for coming last. It being the last race of the seasion I needed those points to beat Chambers.
Turns out I had done an F5 Dave and broken my coller bone, its a bit bad and I am being refered for surgery. I can see it messing up the start to the new seasion but Taupo is still looking good.

Yea me too, it's been draging on and can't be easy for him with the new family.

Yeah it's been a drag with the young lad crying his eyes out tonight, which he usually doesn't, so it's hard to carry him about for long periods.
Shit Rob sorry to hear about the Clavicle. Hope it heals quickly. Impressed you managed to keep racing, that's proper hard. It wasn't even on the menu for me, but I was pretty sure what I'd done straight off. Good luck.

Shit Rob thats no good. Hope you heal up ok and quick.
Wasent doing that great, landed on my arse in one of the prelim races when I stuffed it up the inside of one of you ESE boys and came off at a pace slower than walking after trying to turn on a BIG puddle called the infeild hairpin and then again in the first points race when I got outside the dry line and the arse end of the bike went through a puddle and decided to catch up with the front:doh:
Second points race wasnt to bad

Thanks for the laugh in your last crash, How's your hand?
Some pretty cool racing, some pretty funny crashes to, except TZ's one, that's a real bugger with the broken collar bone. 10 points for toughness to get back on and keep going!

Yeah talk about it, what a legend. After I did mine I lifted my bike up (with good arm, it's only a 125) and then proceeded to pass out. I was able to walk to the ambo but with fairly major assistance. How you raced with a broken one I'll never know! Legend :Punk:

Hey, your father is not as stupid as you look m8.
Full cred to TZ for getting back on the bike. Although it was worth the points, I don't know if it's worth the lecture he's gonna get from granma wobbler next time she see's him. The ESE boys can vouch for that, they said to put the bikes in the car and chuck her on the trailer for the 4 hour ride home, should have taken their advice

Looks like she's broken the collar bone in the same place to me, quite sore at the moment. Hoping for a quick recovery. Might be a while before she can ride again.
I was really impressed how well she was doing keeping up with all the f5 riders, in the wet too.

The real truth of the matter old TZ was due his afternoon nap and forgot what he was doing and had a lie down. Must admit a great effort to finish the race but the 2nd race!!!!!!!!!! thats hard. Sorry I had a ripper of a 2nd race and seemed to get better the more it rained.
Good to see you in at work hope you and granma are back up and running as soon as. Taupo isnt far away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got myself to the Auckland Hospital A&E Sunday night. After a few Xrays they assured me it would all mend itself OK and I was sent on my way with a note, for a week off.
Should be all Hunky Dory next week then.

yeah that'll heal right up. try some of that cough medicine Doctors used to prescribe for any ailment.
