I had 5 seconds or so to decide to a: drop the bike and hit the road or b: just ride out onto the highway and pray no cars were coming...and that I'd make the turn without losing it if I wasn't taken out by an oncoming car or truck. I took option B. Made it! Scared me shitless..that was 20 yrs ago and I've had a few offs, both on/off road but that one scared me the most.(might add it was raining at the time)
