Last night i was on the victoria park flyover... heading north...
traffic doing about 20-30... me slowly splitting up at 35 ish.. i saw a blue toyota hilux... metal mulisha sticker on the back... he sees me coming up ... he is in the right lane of 2.... he moves fully right giving me over a metre between him and the other car to his left...
i went oh yeah metal mulisha sticker hes a biker, letting me through etc... he had definately seen me... passenger gave me a wave through hand signal...
i get my front wheel just past his rear wheel and he then swings left....as far as he could... closing the gap between him and the ar next to him down to 10cm or less.... i'm in between.. luckily i wasnt too far past him i hit the brakes hard and ended up out of the way... he then stayed with that gap for a long time, me in shock going wtf did i do to deserve that... and hung back... after about 20 seconds i think he figured i wasnt going to risk it... he then takes off...weaves through all the lanes utting off everybody and towards the bridge at at least 110 maybe 120...
Why he tried to take me out is completely beyond me...
i eventually passed him... driver and passenger both wearing gauntlet gloves down hands and wrists with t shirts on... there was no bike on the ute...
so if you see a blue toyota hilux ute lowered....with a metal mulisha skull head sticker bigger than a dinner plate on the bak window (drivers side)
be bloodey careful... the net rider he does it to may not be so lucky... no rego but a pretty distintive ute..
take care guys.

If you'd been able to get a plate number it'd almost be worth a trip down to the post office

There is also a white van cruising the north western at 5:30 that has a dreadlocked passenger that leans out the door and barks like a dog at lane splitters.
Although he seems to have upgraded to an airhorn lately he also some times screams.
You have to understand that is just Darwin trying to thin the herd.
Either someone will fall off and die or someone will catch him at it.....

If this guy is a regular communter down this route then it won't be long before we have his number.
Well done for keeping your cool whilst the red mist was clearing.
Hope it was just a one off by a distracted driver and the tosser wasn't attemtping to murder you.

Yeah, car drivers suck etc. etc. and should be more vigilant, but I think we can probably agree that most are only guilty of not being able to drive properly, not ACTIVELY trying to smash bikers into pieces... The former needs to be properly educated/tested and removed from the road if unacceptable. The latter needs to be removed from the gene pool ASAP.

Someone needs to spot him, then ride past and toss a flare in the passenger window.
That'll teach the fucker.

A lot of bikers have cars too. I do, most girlfriends I've had wouldn't like being picked up for a dinner date on a cold wet night on a motorbike, and storage space is limited, as well as the ability to be the sober driver to a group of friends.
Car's don't make people cunts, just like suits don't make people assholes and bikes don't make you tough or cool. It's the person using it you have to look at :)

Has anyone thought that it was possible that it WAS a biker, moved over to let the bike split past, then recognized who the rider was??? :dodge:
