Sexy as fuck colour (mat black with silver) great vents, cool sun-visor, excellent quick release system. Reasonable price.
large would not even go over my head so I ordered in an XXL.
XXL was so tight I nearly had to break its back to get it on, Once on I was in a fair amount of discomfort, Taking it off the discomfort quickly escalated into pain (if I felt pain, which I don't, made of metal after all) anyway, taking it off damn near tore my cheeks and eyelids off and required a dance around the store making weird noises and yanking on the fucker. I figured I could maybe "wear it in". salesman took it off me and refused to let me buy it.:devil2:
Do I have a large head?
Yes, I'm a large fucker so I do indeed have a large head.
Do I have an XTRA XTRA LARGE head?
How big is that anyway?, How often do you see someone and think God damn, Thats a big head, Thats big enough to be EXTRA EXTRA Large.
So, Maybe I do have an XXL head, But if I get in an XXL helmet I expect that bastard to be XXL, Its meant to be extra extra large FFS.Thats huge.
If my head cant even fit into it then the XXL is a fucking lie.
HJC I don't apreciate being lied to, Your helmets suck, Your bullshit sizes suck, and next time we bomb some Asians I hope its you bastards. In fact I'm putting that exact suggestion into the suggestion box.
Nuke bastards at HJC, Think they must be Korean.

Surely you've got a vice at home?
Edit: And my FS-10 is brilliant, except the vents are useless.
Best sunvisor system I've yet come across.

In the end I bought the LS2 Highway instead.
What the fuck is the LS2 Highway I hear you ask?
Exactly. I don't know either but I kind of feel like you would if you went out one day intending to get a sweeeeeeet sports bike or cruiser and came home with a Hyosung.....You know, from a distance, if you squint, It almost...

I have one am a medium in a Shoei and medium in the HJC FS10.
Maybe they labelled it wrong at the factory? or the quality control does suck which is a worry...
Mine is ok - but nothing else to compare too. agreed about the vents, but you can improve things by creating the right air gap between your buff / neck warmer and the chin piece.
The visor is handy but could be a tad darker shade and come down slightly more.
The FS-10 is also lighter than some of the other helmets in the range. It's about 150gms lighter than Mrs. B's HJC and she notices the weight difference.

I love my FS10 carbon apart from the vents are shit and to small...
the sunvisor could be a bit darker but then put a mirror visor on it and its all good :niceone:
Size wise I am one size up from my old helmet at an xxl but the helmet fits way better then my HJC CLSP that I had...
and weight wise a shit load lighter thn the CLSP

Neither, The FS-10 XXL is simply not a very large helmet, It was referred to as Asian sizing.(though I have no idea where they are made)
Helmet manufacturers sometimes use a single sized shell for all the different sized helmets in a range, Piss taking aside I have come across a few XXL helmets that are too small for my head.

My head measures 57cm which apparently puts me with either medium or large yet i ended up with a small HJC that fits very nicely. Trouble is size around forehead has little to do with the size of the rest of your head!

On a positive note the LS2 has proven to be a comfortable and quiet helmet, at least in comparison to the Nolan reatardo it replaces.
Fit is snug without being over tight or annoying, especially impressed with how kind it is to my ears and cheeks.

I owned one for a short amount of time, but ended up returning it.
The sizing was wack. I had to have an XL ordered in for me, but I wore my friend's XS KBC helmet last night and it fitted perfectly.
I found it let in a ridiculous amount of air and noise, to the point that it was nearly unwearable on higher speed roads. I don't use earplugs (though I'm considering it) as I have never needed to, and I felt that if a helmet was so loud that it actually necessitated earplugs it wouldn't be worth it. The noise it let in was odd; a ton of air and wind noise yet relatively little traffic and engine noise.
Without holding up my hand around the base to seal out the wind, my eyes were struggling to cope with the air flow (I wear contacts, but still). I also found that the sun visor did not come down far enough to consistently shield from sunstrike.
However, it was an extremely comfortable helmet, and once getting the sizing right was very snug. I found the venting decent, and when the sun visor was working, it worked well. The flip down visor system was very well designed. Add to that, the helmet looked really cool, and with the sun visor and breathguard on, you look like one bad motherfucker.
But yeah, definitely not the helmet for me. I find my el cheapo BOX helmet much better overall.

Note that the HJC FS-10 only has a three star safety rating as well on the UK Government scale.
I think I'd prefer to stick with helmets with a 4 star or better rating. I only have one head.

That's too bad. Most guys have two, one small one and one big one. The small one does the thinking for most guys.... :woohoo:

Love my FS 10..no issues with sizing..was the same size as my last HJC. Visor works well and I think is actually dark enough and comes down just far enough so i can see my dials etc in clear light.
Quieter that my old HJC as well....nice helmet.
I guess some people dont fit certain helmets.. I tried on a Shark helmet and couldnt fit any size that well...
