What's so shocking about how he wasn't convicted for his mates crash? He got his dues for what he did, and his mate got some bad consequences for what he chose to do as a grown man. Why should his mate be held responsible for that?

Typically biased reporting "clipped the back of a hatch back" - the fucker pulled out in front of him, he was hard on the brakes and still clipped the back.

Yea, it is biased, but it wouldn't have happened if he was a little more "cruzy"

Typically biased reporting "clipped the back of a hatch back" - the fucker pulled out in front of him, he was hard on the brakes and still clipped the back. As a motorcyclist it would be pretty easy to agree but then again its pretty easy to see why the guy in the car failed to see him, probably only looked in his/her rear vision mirror saw nothing and went, like you i see it as the car drivers fault but personally (after being nailed by a few in my time) i try to allow for there fucking up.I dont want to come across as some fucking know it all prick because i dont but given the same suituation i would have passed each car singularly so that before hand i would have been smack bang in sight of the next ones rear vision mirror,if going to pass em all in one go then i wouldnt have done it with any oncoming in sight so as to allow for the cage fucking up and being able to go round it.Anyways as i posted earlier, tragic.

How the hell anyone can mistake Kawasaki green one-piece leathers for acceptable attire on the road is beyond me. They were riding like muppets.<-that's a really big full stop.

In my eyes it WASN'T the car drivers fault -
Firstly, when the cage check his mirrors the biker was still probably just past or still passing that car behind him.
Secondly, The bike was clearly speeding. The dude filming was goint 90-95 MPH and the guy that crashed was pulling away. He would of been in excess of 100MPH. Thats is quick.
Cage indicated before he started overtaking.
Terrible crash but unavoidable.

At the time of the accident the camera bike was showing 100mph and the bike ahead had been pulling away from it.
And some of you still think it was the car driver's fault?????
:weird:
They should have made the guy on the camera bike bag his mate up.

I am what the police describe as a "recidivist speeder" but my tickets are rarely for exceeding 120kph. (I'm such a murderer) I cruise at about 115-120kph coz, for the most part (sober, awake, in good conditions) our roads can support that speed; car OR bike.
Travelling at 160-180 I reserve for occasional moments and above that for rare moments, chosen well in my humble opinion.
175mph is what? 285kph? (Approx.)
At that pace you need to be extremely careful about where you do it. Some people aren't. A track would be the best place to prove a point, something I learnt in about 1978/9.
Public roads are, for want of a better expression, full of public.

It was certainly one of those time and place situations.
At the pace at which he apprached the hatchback I don't think it is reasonable to expect the driver to have the same level of awreness as required by a biker.
The biker could see the hatchback guy was up the car infront's arse and overtaking should have bene a reasonable expectation.
Apart from that bad piece of riding - WOW - what a blast!!!!

They should have made the guy on the camera bike bag his mate up.
Actually, there is a good reason why and why not, regardless if that statement is taken literally or not. He did join in and his mate would probably not have done what he did if there wasn't a mate with a camera filming, so you could argue it was very slightly his fault contributing to his mates behaviour, and I would feel a little responsible, myself. But like I said, it was the dudes decision to ride that fast, it's really no body's fault but himself. Yea/nah?

£190 fine??
Fucking hell.. I got fined more than that for doing 123km/h (76mph) here.
There's heaps of places to do that sort of speed in safety (ie, nobody about) in England.
I used to get an indicated 165mph on my Triumph every day on the way to work. NEVER saw a police car in the the counties where they've swapped the traffic police for cameras. It's a dangerous/wreckless/uninsured eastern europeans illegal immigrants' dream.

I get no morbid satisfaction from videos such as these, thinking of the loved ones who get left behind and lives destroyed... but at least watching these puts me off ever trying that stupid shit.
