Stuffed up tryed to clean them with kerosen as we had some around and no methalated spirits. Then found out that kero is a oil!!! :angry2: :angry2: :angry2:
What would you use to cleen the kero off with??

Go to repco or somewhere similar and buy a can of brakeclean

I would say they are now stuffed. the kero will get in to the surface and when they heat it will soften and spread all around the disk. Look at it this way " What is your life or the life of others worth? " Sorry but I think new ones are on the cards.

Kero does leave a slight oily residue,but not really an issue - heat them up with a torch,the kero will come out pronto,but after half a day I reckon it's gone already.Hit it with some brakeclean if you are fussy.Wash them in hot water next time...

Exactly... but it makes you wonder who the genius was that came up with the name of the stuff...
haha, yep, called a guy from coloursteel about a product for removing graffiti from their fences.... "no worries mate, you can get it from placemakers, its called..... grafitti remover"
