Agreed! You should really put spoiler in the title and change it to say somehting else. Some wouldn't have seen the race yet and it will spoil it for them!

Just try giving people a chance to see the replay first if they weren't able to watch it Live and then Post up the results, 4 everyone to see.
It was a fantastic race with Lorenzo and Rossi duelling right to the end in that final lap and what about Poor Casey Stoner who had to be helped off his bike after the race.
I thought at 1 stage he was going to collapse standing on the podium.
3 riders all on 106 points is definately making this years GP very exciting and anyones Championship. Thats what I call Great Racing.:2thumbsup:woohoo:

Exactly, by clicking on motogp Catalunya were they hoping to see some new hot gossip on KB , maybe tyre pressures for their 250 spada ??? come on !

A pleasure to see a real race, in fine weather , yep Stoner felt a bit faint , but Rossi is still a magican ? Gaz.

Much better thread title than the microcephalic who started a thread, "Rossi Wins in Spain".

As much as you rich people don't like hearing it, some of us don't have Sky and are waiting for a torrent to finish downloading at home so we can watch it tonight.

Hmmm Thread title: Thread title reads MotoGP Catalunya, I did'nt get to see via sky or online, hmmmm, better avoid that thread until i've seen the race myself I think! Is it that difficult to avoid the thread until you've had the chance to see yourself? I think not.
But onto more important things, you'll want to watch this race regardless of knowing the outcome or not, last four laps were freakin' awesome! Plus Rossi won so it's worth the watch just for that alone. :niceone:

my thread was titled "MotoGP Catalunya" and if you read my post you will see I didn't mention anything about the result whatsoever, for obvious reasons...

please blame whoever it was who merged the spoiler thread with this one and didn't think to add "spoiler" to the title

No?

My thread was entitled "MotoGP Catalunya"

This thread is entitled "MotoGP Catalunya" (No mention of spoiler)

The other thread you merged into this mentioned the winner (I assume you are referring to post #4?)

This thread didn't (originally)

For all you confused twits, dnwundabkr started a thread entitled `Rossi won Spain' or something similar (it was changed later). That is the thread everybody got upset about -- not because it didn't have `spoiler' in the title, but because it had `Rossi won' in the title (so you couldn't avoid it).

Later about four threads were merged, hence the confusion.

I like the fact he was considered the underdog when going to Yammy - proved them all wrong.

I'd like to see one race a season when the bike they are to ride is pulled out of a hat from all competing bikes  They get a set-up session as they do now then go for it

That race was awesome. I have said it before on KB, but it deserves to come out again after that one.

Some of us have RSS feeds setup on our home pages. I minimise the race sites the night before a race, but everyone on KB had gotten so good at indicating spoilers that I didn't worry about minimising that section.

About 12 laps out from the finish exiting a few corners from the start/finish line thay had comparisons up of Lorenzo and Rossi's Throttle and brake responces. i thought it was weird that rossi was 3/4 throttle down the brief straight away where as Lorenzo was full throttle and maintaining that the whole distance eventually enabling him to overtake. I was a bit WTF at that.

Thoughts?

1)Mine are, Rossi chewed through too much gas at the start of the race and the bike was backing off a bit.

2) Rossi wanted to put the learn on the student and just remind people and can make a move where he wants when he wants.

Subtley starting the mind games a little early this season.

that was up there with laguna 08 awesome...

And seriously, asif come onto a forum a click on the racing link before you've seen the racing. I ignored txt's from people i knew that would have seen it and didn't visit websites likely to have result till i had downloaded it.

Sad but true.

Brilliant! Might even have to watch it again tonight...

All of the above I think....Rossi made an interesting comment I thought after the race when he said been "thinking about that last pass for 2 weeks before the race".....is that planning or what ! I 'spose at that level & having spent so many hours on these tracks that the riders must have a very good idea of where opportunities may arise & that alot of the practice sessions would be working out where they need to be under such & such a set of circumstances.....awesome!!

I'm a huge Rossi fan and I'm thrilled that he won in such a brilliant fashion but man Lorenzo... what a huge step up for him.

That's a race long duel with the GOAT standing toe to toe trading punches on an identical bike and to me he looked less ragged than Rossi at the end!

OK it's a Spaniard in Spain but still... he knows he can do it now... going to be an interesting season :woohoo:

A lot of us would use the show all 'new posts' button each day. Obviously All post - even race ones come up. Not a Problem if the "Spoiler" system is used.

Some of us don't get to see the race till 5 or 6 days later.

Yes and but normally that is the case. However TV1 knocked me off my seat in that they DID show highlights of the last lap... amazing. Anyway, lucky for me I had seen it.
Also I am another who avoids all human contact - post MotoGP race in order not to get spoiled.
