Well after making the racing deabooo in round 1 of the winter series at terotonga witch eas wet and cool but had a great time i was looking forward to last sunday for round 2.
With the bike and gear loaded and ready and new trailor wireing [fried going to round 1:doh:]off we went on sat arvo.
Got up in invercargill to supprise :no:pissing down and gold.
Got to the track set up and yarn, sign in and got out on track in the wet for practice.
Allmost had a streetstock take me out going into the elbow when his front locked up and went from under him and he had a close look at the gravel trap.
Aperantly his bike just missed my rear as i tipped in and the chick almost run him over as he was sliding so a bit lucky all round and he was able to repair his bike to race:Punk:
Came round for race one just as the sun pocked through cloud wit it still drizzling shining straight down the straight so missed the start along with a fella on a nsr cos we couldnt see the lights:doh:but had fun in amongst the streetstocks and cought a gsx 750 and honda 900 witch was having traction problems in the wet:laugh:
Race two was not raining now but was windy but had a good race chasing the pre82 gsx750 witch i managed to hold onto all race.
Race 3 was blowing still but the track was mostly dry so was able to push a bit more but still a bit carefull off the end of thr straight as there was a stream running across as you entered the sweeper but got ahead of the 750 by i few seconds-hes not in my class but last round i couldnt keep up with him so im happy:Punk:
Good things to come out of the weekend-droping a tooth on the front has made the bike alot better around the track, dunno what my times were but must have been faster cos i was keepin up with the streetstocks and passing some of them:Punk:.
They say you should try to learn something every raceday so 1/DO NOT have a big feed of hot and spicy kfc the night before a meeting - dont need to tell anymore:laugh:and i need ballet lessons cos if/when i bin i want to look gracefull so LOSTINFLYZ im willing to pay for lessons seeing as you seem to have had some practice on sunday:laugh:but seriously heal quick mate.
So enuff from me looking forward to round three and it better be dry:done:

are you trying to say i was not graceful flying down the road on my arse. Jerk!

just kidding. nah the very short amount of time i saw you out there you looked to be much more comfy on the bike, and starting to find some good pace. A few more days out will do you wonders.

See ya out next time. Just remember only cool kids crash.
