Life in general is dangerous - motorcycling adds abit of adventure and fun into an already challenging time

Many many things, including biking ARE inherently dangerous. Aeroplanes, sharp knives, paragliding, scuba diving, promiscuous sex, all have great risks associated with them when you stop and take a look at what is really happening. It's just that they are relatively forgiving for newbies who just dabble in it or those who take it seriously, and relatively UNforgiving for the unwary, untrained, of those who push its' limits.

You could buy a bike and only ever putter on it, and quite likely you will never be at risk. You could get extensive training on it, and reduce your risk greatly. Conversely, you could crackle around on it at lightspeed, and be at enormous risk every day.

If it wasn't for the risk of death or injury, where would the thrill be in anything ... bungee jumping, sky diving, motorocycle riding ....

Getting out of my driveway in the morning, on foot, two or four wheels is dangerous! :bye:

So I say, without danger, what's worth doing in life really?

So I say, without danger, what's worth doing in life really?

Just about everything really.

Personally I am extremely risk averse. I will never under any circumstances do anything that is in any way dangerous , morally or legally questionable, or antisocial

I never speed, speed kills, this I know for the gubbermint tells me so

Why can't you all be like me?

you know you are old if you remember when sex was fun and motorcycles were dangerous. Now its the other way around. Statistics show you are more likely to catch a STD than crash your bike.... I guess that means we should all give up sex too eh?????? not bloody likely!!!!!!
A motorcycle sitting all by itself can hurt noone. therefor motorcycles are not dangerous.

the motorcycle itself isn't the danger, it's others on the road. Bike's biggest enemy= car

Hey, as one "who takes it serious" (as opposed to merely dabbling), how are you getting on with this one Steve?

Any luck with the swingers club?

The Red bling I wear with pride, thank you, but there's no need to be all nasty and exclusive - why wouldn't you want to tell me anyway? Having no luck I'm guessing.

Don't shoot the messenger :innocent: I'm just putting it out there so to speak :innocent:...more exposure may mean more hits for you my friend :2thumbsup

Nothing wrong with enlightening some of the really stupid cage drivers out there shit, there are enough of them. If two of them leave of the gas and stay on their side of the road and don't kill a biker coming on the other side. WHORAY:wari:

Fuck, you've got a lot to learn.

(Edit: Unless you mean "a biker coming on the other side" - in which case you're not far off the mark).
