Has anyone ever asked about the weight limit of a Yamaha jog?
61kgs, Load and rider!!
Its been a long time since I was 61kgs so I put an adjustable shock on the rear only to find at the top setting the centre stand is off the ground by 40mm so its set at midway, no more bottoming out with a backpack on, but it has lifted the centre of gravity. Still worth it tho.

I queried that 61kgs as well when I was looking. Was told by Henderson Yamaha they can comfortably handle 120kgs

The taller shock has caused a small prob with the air filter, because of the new angles (head end is higher) and the filters are all part of the moving mass, its just touching the frame without any weight on the seat, so a pod filter will have to replace it with the new carb, it's a bugger because of the induction noise and I was trying to keep it looking standard.

Added Scootlings variator last week with an over sized drive belt and lighter clutch springs (+500rpm) and lighter weights (4.5grams) in the variator. It has added 10kph + with the standard limited cdi, carb and pipe and still only 49.5cc, its as fast as an average car off the line but still struggles against those who don't like being left at the lights by an engine 1/40th the size of a 2ltr car.

The shop Jog hauled Adam to the bottle store fine and made it back with a couple of dozen added. It's been a couple of years since Adam weighed 60Kg.

The jog seems OK ish with a load, they should be able to carry a shyt load, at least twice as much as a wheelbarrow considering they have two wheels from one.
I managed to test the hook under the bars with over 5kg swinging off it (4ltr tin of paint and some turps with another 4ltr tin under the seat) :stupid:, it worked fine :scooter: until I had the thing well over on a bend to the left. The bag swung to the right and pulled the scoot up straightening me out of the bend :gob: and turning me to the right into the oncoming lane :shit::bye:, between two oncoming cars:yes: and down a side street  just off the bend :puke:. Chalked that one up to experience/luck/stupidity, funny now tho.:slap:
