I've seen a few stories about it over the past year. Good to see a team of Kiwis (and a couple others I think) actually doing something rather than just talking about it. I hope it fares well.

Yeah they said in the interview they had been hacked down Tall Poppy style by a few! All good that they are getting it out there in the world market!!!

Always wanted to be a car/bike designer. Good to see a industry building up in NZ

I wonder what Denny would think of it? He's not around to say yay or nay...will it do his name proud,or will it be something we all snicker about in 10yrs time? I want our only F1 World Champion to be remembered in a positive light.

I believe they share the same view as you Motu. Only time will tell, but there is no reason why it can't be a sucess. As the sticker price is in the hundreds of thousands and not a 'kit' car priced below a hundred, I hope this is not only a sum of its parts but also the thought and design put in to it. I wonder if they could put the new M5 (V10) engine into it? (whether BMW would sell them)

they have even fitted a couple of 6.5ft tall people in it which shows they have put a bit of thought in to it!! Plus developed the colour especially!! I think they want to respect the man/legend, his widow was there to unveil the car.

I like it, and it's good that they're doing it.
Should've called it a Bandicoot, or Aardvark, or something else with a long nose...

Never know, give it a few years and we might have ourselves an Aaron Slight SBK bike.... although he's a bit like (fuck his name leaves me at the moment, the guy who was the greatest F1 driver to never win a championship, the kiwi... hmm) in the fact that he was bloody awesome and up there for so many years but didn't actually win.

Well looks like they are trying to secure a deal with BMW to get the new V10 5.0l engine when the car is released. That'll give it the needed punch. $600,000 projected price though, looks like they've got their work cut out for them.

Read about that. Supposedly the engine's for the M5 and BMW want to release that before they release the Hulme with that engine.
The M5 going to be 'the most powerful normally aspirated sedan'
