Even if she DID say "kitchen bitch" the cop probably should have written something along the lines of 'kitchen hand' just to be polite. That's part of the problem; the cops make themselves targets for this sort of thing through a basic lack of manners. He was a twat to write it down, let him take the flak.

21st June 2009, 17:12
Even if she she did say it (which of course she did) he should have written 'kitchen hand' on the front, and noted her 'kitchen bitch' statement on the back of his copy - it would go to show her attitude should he need to bring it up in court. I've been in that situation and it's just not worth the hassle.

So. She said "occupation = kitchen bitch". Cop's willing to swear to that. I'll believe that, cop wouldn't write that down unless she said it, cops have no sense of humour. Now she says its not true.
So, charge her with giving false particulars.

When I was 'Jack the Lad' sure, had heaps of the things on the walls of various flats. They made entertaining reading for visitors. I had one with "EXCESSIVE SPEED" (yes, in block letters, complete with exclamation mark) written on it. No estimate, no radar, he just thought it was excessive. I can't recall what the fine was, if any. I had so many that when the boffins caught up with me I denied about a third of them and presto! That one third disappeared.

Orrrrr.......How about a kb competition to see who can get the weirdest 'occupation' written on a ticket. I'm a starter. Who cares what they write down? All they want is the money so say what you like when it comes to occupation. They often don't ask anyway, I don't think it has any relevance to the legality of the ticket.
It'll be interesting to see if the average bobby can spell 'paleontologist'.

I always leave the speeders 'occupation' space unfilled on their copy.
I fill in my carbon copy of it back at work.

Where does it say in the article that she's a "mouthy chick"? Where do you people get off assuming she gave the cop some lip? Besides; if he can't take a bit of lip (if that was the case) from a cheeky teenager then then he's in the wrong freakin' job! Writing 'kitchen bitch' on the ticket was about as petty and childish as it gets.

Gettin a $400 ticket for breaching her restricted licence conditions shows she has no respect for the law or any of its rules and regulations, the fact she threw said ticket into the glovebox for four months indicates she probably gets a lot of tickets and has no respect for anything.....
Ah well, by now she's probably got enough demerits to lose her licence (Gee, THAT'S a surprise!) so she will (a) drive anyway and get away with it (b) not drive (unlikely) or (c) drive and get caught and have whatever car she's driving impounded for 28 days etc (Gee, ANOTHER surpise!).
And probably learn nothing, respect nothing, ah what a wonderful future beckons her...

Furthermore, Scumdog (sorry SD, I'm going to do it again, agree with you) is on the money when he says (word to the effect) that you can write what you like on your own copy but keep the perp's copy in line with reg's. That way you don't end up getting bad press. The cop goosed it and good on the girl for rubbing his nose in it. I would, without hesitation.

Each to there own. Nope it said that she was a perfect angel and told him the truth and the cop is just a meanie. I guess I read between the lines and tend to believe the cop. If someone gives me lip I have no probs giving it back. I dont think its news worthy enough to warrant typing anymore about it.

She could be a very nice girl, you don't know anything about her.
However, the cop has admitted writing kb on the ticket, he's in a tiny (very tiny) spot of pooh. So, he's admitted being a goose, she's admitted nothing, in fact she has denied saying she was a kb, so there, nyah.
