Hi - I have a set of 3/8" drive sockets (cheapish) and a nicer set of Powerbuilt 1/2" drive ones. Thing is, my nice shiny torque wrench is 3/8" drive and I'd like to use it with the Powerbuilt set for some larger things like axle nuts. Is it possible to get an 'upsize' converter to do this? I've Googled a bit but reckon gurus on here will be quicker. Thanks in advance for your help.

Of course. Any Repco, Supercheap or tool store. Just be careful to get it the right way round, as regards male/female. Couple of bucks. Though, watch the torque, 3/8 doesn't usually go so high.

Thanks for that speedy info, Ixion. Yeah, I wondered about the torque but checked some figures and my t-wrench is rated high enough for the Strom axle. Good tip about getting the adapter gender right too - thanks again. :2thumbsup

You have some sockets cheaper than Powerbuilt? Is someone making stuff cheaper than China now?
