I have just been down at Repco inquiring about buying some radiator mesh. And the sheet the showed me the measurements of could make atleast 4 radiator guards. Which got me thinking. I heard people on here have bought there mesh from Repco and they may have got the similar size sheet i was quoted. And may have some left over that i can buy from them.

So here i am asking, Does any1 have any radiator mesh they have bought from repco or something equivalent i can purchase off them for beer or money.

Thanks!

I've got a sheet with a bit cut out of it - how big a piece do you need ?

Oh and if you're way out of Auckland I can't see it being worthwhile

Best you post the dimensions you need...

I should have some lying around, the Ripco Racemesh, but I ended up just making a bigger guard. Don't think I have been able to make a guard sideways from it... must have big radiators

Ulrich aluminium is cheaper and Payless Plastics or Para Rubber do a nice small profile edging rubber for about $2 per m

I've still got most of a sheet of black mesh left that I got from Super Cheap Auto. It's 280 wide, I can cut a 400mm bit off for you for $15.

...or go down to your local truck/machinery workshop see if you can grab an old truck air filter out of their skip. Snip the mesh off that. Spend the money you save on beer ;)

Stainless door security mesh is great.
fitted it to two bikes. Daytona and Scrambler.
Find a security door maker, and take some beer. they will have heaps of off cuts.

Or try Paper Plus or the Wharehouse for a set of intrays (costs around $9.99) and snip it to suit. I got mine on special for $4.95.
