Right, I'm off to Christchurch this (fine  ) morning on the Nordie and am wondering where the "must see" parts are.

I'll obviously look in at the world famous leper colony and the internationally reknowned cess pits but if no-one comes up with any better ideas then I'll probably just pitch a tent at the Canty Folk Festival at Wipara.

I know where there's a second hand looking Blackbirs and a VERY second hand looking R1.

They could be worth a squiz!

Along with some hot tips on "How not to corner at Ruapuna"

Be there myself tonight in my Hot Rod type cage, so far the weather man has screwed up down here, it's hot and sunny with bugger all wind, heres hoping it's like that when I leave at 4pm and stays that way for the trip. :niceone:

Oi! I made 40+ laps without a crash. And riding at 95% my best time on a new z6 and a well worn pilot sport front was 1:55 (first time on the track). WT did 1:42, so i figure:

5 seconds for the gxxr down the straight and outta corners
5 seconds for the amount of coffee he had circulating
3 seconds cos he had a camera focussed on him and no traffic
2 seconds cos he had (ghey) leathers

and that makes him..... SLOW.

:msn-wink: :shake:

You're forgetting to subtract 4 sceonds per lap for a) Having had zero sleep in the past 32hours and b0 being extremely dehidrated.

I'm already planning the next one, if I can't get down to a reasonable 600 time, I'm hanging up ,y leathers and buying a Harlet. Simple as that.

It's an age thing Jimmy, you're getting older :Pokey:

Still, the alternative to getting older is not too flash.....
