Wholly shit! I was just subject to a home invasion and got a fuckin shotgun pointed in my face :shit:

Heard a knock on the door early this evening and opened it to find 4 friendly chaps sporting a double banger shotgun waiting outside for me. They forced their way in, shoved me on the ground and had the shotty up against the back of my head execution-style :sweatdrop and proceeded to interrogate me, almost like im a terrorist!

They didnt take anything and as it turned out they were after someone else, but man it was a different experience...especially that it happened on my 25th birthday haha!

I must say that the cops did a good job - they arrived like 3min after the 111 call with dogs and heaps of officers and combed the area. Sat through a 4hr statement session and only just got home, but the process gave me renewed faith in the police dept. :Police:

Im gonna go now and have a Famous Grouse and coke - but hold the coke!
And probably a mild heart attack.

Are you okay? You might need to have a debrief with good friends. That is nightmare stuff.

26th June 2009, 07:18
Far out! That is scarey shit. Thank goodness they stopped to check if you were the right man or not.

In the early '70's I was with a friend and we went to visit with her boyfriend in Glen Innes. Now back then it was not quite the revolting place it is today, close but. This guy was boarding with an older lady. We were all sitting there having a coffee when there was a knock at the door, the lady went to answer it. She came back and said there were some guys out there wanting to talk to a bloke, she did not know who they wanted.

My friends b/f went out to find out. Well, these patched Hells Angels were not interested in whether he was the right bloke or the wrong bloke, they set upon him in a big way! Gave him one hell of a beating, kicked him to the ground, got in their cars and raced away. It happened very quickly. When this guy did not come back inside we went to see where he was and found him in a very bad way on the driveway. Cops and ambo called.

I was terrified, I was still a school girl and had never been exposed to the wilder side of life. Turned out they also had the wrong man, the cops did track them down but no charges were ever laid.

Glad you are ok!

Home invasion would have to be the worst damn thing to happen, Lucky to survive.

Had a car drive past once firing off shots at us, I saw the two cars, The people, the gun, watched him firing the shots, heard the gun, Fucked if any of it registered until it was over and the cars were 400m away. I barely even moved. I just watched me old mate try and run down the car on foot while they fired at him.

Anyhow, just remember it ain't being staunch to get help if you suffer from trauma. If you need to talk about it with someone, do so!

And if you don't, more power to you! Now remember, on your bike ... there are muppets out there who do want to kill you inadvertantly! :pinch:

What a pack of Low Lifes, and who do they think they are turning up with guns and frightening the shit out of the wrong person.
No doubt the pricks dont have licences for the firearms they were carrying and no doubt next time you get a knock on your door you may think twice about answering it.
what is this world coming too when innocent people have to put up with having scum bags turning up to their front door pointing dangerous weapons at you.
Get them on their own and it would be a different story.
I'm glad that the cops came around as quick as they did and here's hoping they get the mongrels who did this and that they get their well deserves.:2guns:

This sort of shit is why I keep a bat at both ends of the house, Have a noisy gate, a large window so I can anyone coming onto the property, and if I get a knock on the back door at night I first check the road for parked cars and then I go out the front door, around the back of the house and come up behind whoever it is.

Basically I'm a people person.

Timber020
26th June 2009, 16:06
Makes you wonder what a prat the guy that they are after has been to motivate that kind of "visit".

I dont know what it is but I bring about the need for people to show off any firearm they carry. 2 cops one time, a security guard another, and a gangbanger named ben with a 38 police special.....ah those happy happy "is this it?" moments.

If I had to then yes, Otherwise its a scouting mission. If I came across some motherfuckers trying to get into my house and they had guns then I'd most likely get shot. Thats the way it goes.
