I'll be there provided the weather plays the part and I get the sheep shorn on Saturday. Planning to take a mate and his Velocette over to see if we can't sell it.

Swap meet? Excuse the ignorance -but what is a swap meet ? Is it a chance to ride one anothers bikes or a swingers party? If it's the latter - more details please!

A swap meet is where you take along all your old worn out useless crap and try and flog it off, except you usually end up going home with other peoples old worn out useless crap, because one day you just might need that left lens off a 1973 Hodaka Combat Wombat. They usually have one out at McLeans Island that is pretty big, more vintage car type stuff but well worth a look.

Sunday April 3rd, 08:00, Claudelands Showgrounds, Hamilburg. Usually costs a couple of clams to get in, a few more to hold a stall (which I believe you have to book with the classic m/c club)

Still be fun to go and the stuff I'll be looking for could go onto anybike (i.e. headlight, indicators, ect, ect) and I'm certain they will have some aftermarket stuff there aswell.

I would like to go along,
And AD, you are right, there usually is a heap of aftermarket odds and bods that will suit anything.

Anybosy know how much the entrance fee is or if there is one? If there is gonna be a que then I'll wanna get there early to get tickets for me and Aff-Man.
Oh and Dodgyiti you're more than welcome and if you want to go as a group you can meet up with me and Aff-man where we are meeting at. Not sure where that is yet but it might be my house or somewhere more to the east of here where he would be when he enters town from his ride.

Would need a trailer to show them my bike mate. As far as I know Aff-man and I are meeting at my place unless he wants to meet elsewhere and not knowing how long it takes to get here from auckland on SH22 I can't really give a time but I am gonna assume we will be goin in the gates at about 10 to 10:30am.

Ok or those who are comming but don't know where it is. The bit circled in blue is the end of Te Rapa straight wich is the road you come to if you are comming in on SH1. The red circle is where the swap meet is going to be held with amore detailed map of each.
