I hadta get more firewood. Run out already. (never happened before - must be a cold winter).
I am a known procrastinator and lazy arse. I usually take a week or more to get firewood stacked away in the garage under the house.
Not this time. Wood was delivered when I was out. The dude was really good and got his truck right down to the garage door. He dropped the whole load right outside the roller door. And blocked it completely. With 6m3 of wood. Thereby sealing the bike inside...So if I want to ride again any time soon, I have to put the wood away. Great! (and bugger)!

You bitch about not being "able" to ride your bike every time it's cold or wet anyway.
So it's hardly like you're going to be wanting it out of the shed until summer anyway.

ring the police as an informer, tell them there is a stash of drugs hidden under the pile of fire wood at such & such address,
Problem solved for free!

Had the same thing more than once when we lived in Tokoroa. Also hated stacking firewood prior to winter so swore we wouldn't get a logburner for our new place, despite them working well and looking good. Have had a heat pump for the last 2 years and very happy with it. Cheap to run and no mess!

Too bad when the power goes off though..:cold:
I like fires - just not moving all that wood.

I do that every time I get firewood delivered.Problem is I often have a track through the middle big enough to get the bike out and the rest stays there.

Got over half of it away this morning...and managed to resist the temptation to "test out" whether or not I could get the bike out...if I had done that, I would have ridden away and not come back until time to go to work...so I worked hard for an hour and a half. Same effort tomorrow and it is all done. Then next morning it will rain again...:ar15: But I can get the bike in and out now...:devil2:

I laugh at the white trash scum living near my mother.
They are arrogant lazy fuckers, but had a 1m3 of bone dry timber dropped right in front of their garage door.
When they want a bit of wood for the fire, they go outside and get a bit. Shame it pissed with rain for days on end recently.
No idea about putting a cover over it.
Where the fuck is Darwin when you need him?

Invest in an Air conditioning unit, then you would have no further problems

Nope. This bunch of retards left a bunch of kids to have a party. A 16yr old is left in charge.
The "mother" takes the 16yr old's daughter away for the weekend, so the young'uns can party.
The cops had several callouts due to fighting in the (main) street.

Used to get a truck load of kiln dry pine blocks, ranged from 2"-15" long and pretty much 4x2 and 8x2,was approx 5cu mtr, truck could get up to garage and woodshed between hedge and garage,so took about 4 hour to clear, used wheelbarrow for a while.Had to basically grab armfull of wood at the end and chuck it on stack,or throw piece by piece lol.
Much easier to stack split mac or pine as larger pieces. But once chainsaw hire, fuel, trailer hire and time to split it can be cheaper to get from mill.

I go for a 2 lot system. One lot for burning this year, the other lot Im building and drying up for next year. Funnily enough often I dont have enough wood due to the fact when we do big tree jobs, the LAST think I want to do is haul and process wood at home. We felled and moved 64 tonnes of pine a few months ago, how much of it did I take home? Only the sawdust that collected in my pockets and underwear.
Dumb because of course with wife home now all day with the little one, shes goes through wood luck a p fed family of woodchucks.

I found the council's wheelie bin to be a great wood carrier.
I just need to learn the secret of ordering wood and making sure it arrives when it's not raining.

Read all that global warming tripe, so bought two heat pumps for the house to save on burning wood. (Saving the planet and all that) :headbang:
So far this year we have used twice as much wood and our power bill has trebled!
I have to thank those global warming people, they are really on the case!

Man...you must be REALLLLLLY old to say that..!
Anyhoo, the wood is all away - all 6m3 of it. And the bike is back out of jail...mind you, riding in the fog this morning wasn't very exciting...apart from headlights suddenly appearing 20 metres ahead...:eek5:

I am but it's a secret.
Gotta get some more f/w myself soon, the stack is looking a bit low. I probably should have bought it weeks ago but when it comes to procrastinating I don't waste any time.
