Hi Guys,
Just joined the site, and having a look around.
Have a VTR1000f, bought after a campaign that won over my beloved, and rate it as the best bike I've owned.
Live in Palmy, looking to join a group for weekend rides, plus the odd rally.
My fave ride for blowing out the cobwebs is heading over the saddle road, then back over the track, love it on a good day! (not many of those lately!)
Looking at doing the TT2000 next year, so will begin training the backside to stand riding the firestorm for that distance!
Cheers

Nice to have you around.:woohoo: You will enjoy getting out on the bike again, I had a 29 year break and love it. The KB riders in Manawatu / Palmy are awesome to know. There is a cool ride on tomorrow - check Manawatu Otaki social Riders.

What did you break?
A long, boring spell?
Welcome to the Kiwi of Biker, Mr Zahria, Sir! Enjoy your biking, and please keep your VTR shiny side up! I newsta have a FahrtSturm too, once upon a time. Lotsa fun, but very thirsty. I tried to cure it one time by riding past 4 service stations, but it didn't work. It just made me push it to another one.

hmm more than just the manawatu R & R thread
We also have the manawatu rides thread, tag o rama, feilding riders then of course there is the fri nite rides thread and finally the twice a yr start/end of summer BBQ thread (with the ride around the loop)
then of course sprinkled in are individually organised rides ..
mandatory of course for each thread is to talk plenty of shit & take it off topic every chance you get and occassionally get a infraction or warning
think that covers it .. welcome aboard :)

Many thanks, got through most of it so far, had my first infraction, ah, live and learn and all that.
Made it to the first friday night ride, but Oncall and Kids have put paid to the rest so far.
Heading down to Wellington on Friday night, to get set for the capital cruise, looking forward to it.
Cheers guys!!!

I'm off to see Higgens tomorrow, and borrow their trailer tanker!
Should sit well attached to the sprint... aye uncle!!:2thumbsup
