Hello

I have a 2007 R6 with standard suspension. I weigh just under your average bloke.. well quite a bit under 73Kg... (Was 74kg 30 minutes ago but we wont go there...)

How does know know ?, When your bike is setup for you and your riding position ? with having limited experience on a motorcycle. I have only been riding since the start of this year.

I could goto a track day that is advertised oftern on KB focus'ed at bike setup but how can one know who is not riding the bike if it is a good setup or not ?

Cheers :)

''The best youve ridden is the best you know'' and there is NEVER a perfect setup. Improvement is always a term of relativity.
The compression base valve holders in the front forks on R6 have such a restrictive lead in flow path that it causes cavitation on flow reversal. That is ( for example ) just one of many things that can be improved on that bike.
If you advise your e-mail address I will forward you a setup manual that will assist in your understanding.

Send an e-mail to me at robert@crownkiwi.co.nz to remind me. I am away until Monday and that will give me less chance of overlooking it.
OR, if you want to ride to Cyclespot Honda in Barrys Point road Takapuna on Saturday I will be there during the day doing free bike setups/ advice.
