The bike is great. I'm loving it more and more every day. so far I've done 4000km and it's going really well (apart from the puncture I had fixed today).
The transition from a 250 cruiser to the SV has been a lot easier than expected. I'm starting to get the hang of cornering on him and I'm loving the extra power I've got to play with. SV's have great handling and are really fun - if anyone is thinking about getting one I say GO FOR IT!!!

RR, wait till you put some Metz M1's or Z6's on him. He'll really mumble then :)

However I can confirm that the SV is highly unsuitable for gravel.

Isn't it funny how we all ride the opposite sex? Just an observation. :niceone:

Not an observation - a gross generalisation, as madboy said.
I have never thought of any of my bikes, cars etc. as hims or hers. They are machines. However, when they have malfunctioned, rude personal insults usually applied to persons have sometimes been directed at them, as "You stupid machine!" isn't as efficacious...

Any way I'm glad you are enjoying your new bike....Only two things that keep me sane....Sex and riding...get no where near enough of either. At least with sex you don't get demerits and a hefty fine if ya get it wrong...Oh thats right ya do!
