Howdy,

Can folks offer some tips on restoring engines to tidy or near original state?

I enquired about powder coating, and they said parts reach 180degrees C, which means a complete disassemble and de-grease - not sure if I want to do that..

I am thinking of blocking its orifices and blasting it with something, or is there some chemical approach that will restore alloy to a near-new finish?

thanks,
Steve
