Ummmm .... I believe that only applies to the APE Big Blocks, not oversize pistons and cylinders !!
The big blocks that APE supply are a totally different animal.
Refer :
Rule book. Version 3-02-02. Page 6. 25-2-3 Replica Parts and Materials.

All parts were supplied by Jim Ashcroft in 2001. For those that don't know him he is/was the Kawasaki postie guru from Palmerston North and the APE agent. I followed his recommendations at the time to get a strong and reliable engine producing about 130hp that would not self destruct. Engine machining and assembly was done by Danby Machine & Development. I have all receipts for engine parts and labour which total more than $8k. It has never been run.
In addition some of the other parts include new 33mm CR Keihns, manifolds, big bore petcock and a push pull twist grip; heavy duty clutch - plates, springs and backing plate; trick period rearsets; 17" mag rims (the rivited ones, apparently very rare and sought after). Plus boxes and boxes of spares.
Up till this point the thing owes me around $12k ....I was going to race this and expected to be near the pointy end.
Things have changed and now I just need to cut my losses and move on.
Make me an offer
