View Full Version : Cache of guns seized near Tauranga

You probably all know the police discovered a cache of weapons including some automatic rifles at Pyes Pa, south of Tauranga. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10582061
All I can say is whoever had them must be pretty thick to get caught. A mate of mine who works in the Bay of Plenty says the Maori separatists are generally too stoned, too disorganised, and too stupid to be any real threat.
Mind you that is no comfort to people like the hunters who were fronted recently.
Anyone know anything more?

Excellent idea - we should start with a sepcial license for Military Style weapons... in fact - let's make a license mandatory for all firearm owners. That way the criminals will feel bad and turn themselves in.
That'll fuck 'em

15 rifles/guns is hardly a cache. I own 4, I know others who own a lot more.
The rifles ranged in calibre from single shot to semi-automatic.
what?

Hey if we created a licence to be a criminal it would be much easier catching them.
