Woo hoo I got my full today!
Sat it in Pukekohe through Matts Photoworld.
Whole thing took about 30 mins, and I only travelled 16kms.
Did my basic riding, two intersections where I had to remember the hazards, and then out into the country for some higher speed riding (where I left the testing officer in his diesel behind) and then back to the shop where he wrote up his notes and gave me my paper licence.
So happy!
Can go out and try some bigger bikes now yay!
And take pillions legally lol.

It's a great feeling isn't it! Congratulations. Tell your father you've been riding safely and can prove it via passing your full license test. Tell him how many k's you've clocked up and be confident when you tell him. Your attitude will prove your capability.

Sounds like that might be an idea. Was considering turning up at his house with the boyfriend also on his bike but thought that might give dad a heart attack (the bf and me riding), so told him about the boyfriend lol :innocent:. Another idea is just letting my sister accidently tell him, she seems to do that a lot, surprised that shes kept it a secret this long for me. I'll just see how it goes.

Congrats! I did my full on a GN which my son now rides. I still enjoy riding it from time to time.

p.s. I pillioned him home from school one day on it (he was 16 at the time) and think the bike was glad it was only a short trip! Me at 60 kg and him at about 70 kg made the poor wee thing work pretty hard

I pillioned monkeymsea home after our accident and it went fine. Also been the pillion on it when I was learning to ride and it didnt seem to struggle much. Im light though lol
