If you are the rider who pulled up next to me at the lights at Russell Rd/Weymouth Rd in Manurewa on Sunday afternoon about 4pm and waved I would like to say you made my day. I had just returned from a ride to Hamilton and the pain in my right arm was excruciating (from my accident back in March).
I apologise if you are someone I've met before but didn't recognise your bike - my only thoughts other than keeping safe on the road was to get home to some painkillers!
It really gave me a lift and put a smile on my face (which had been pretty much set in a grimace all the way from Huntly) for the last bit of my ride before heading down my home street.
Thank you!!:yes::wavey:
p.s. your rego is **ZUC

Hi PrincessBandit I would like to say it was me but it's to far from home to be me. lol I wave to EVERY bike I see(lol) and i get lots of waves, nods but there are a few who don;t bother and I agree it makes you feel good and friendly. Vern:niceone:

Meh. So, what's new? Nothing unusual about bikers getting friendly toward pretty chicks. Double so for pretty biker chicks.

It was not the usual "cool lift hand off the left grip bike salute", but a whole hand wave as well as waving me through the turn first and a toot when I peeled off to turn into my road.

I quite often get the one fingered wave....

With a helmet on it is very difficult to tell the difference between a grimace and a smile.
Nice to hear you are getting out and about more.

Well it wasn't me but I always like to give a friendly wave or nod when I see other bikers when I'm out and about. Also always to kids,them being all potential future bikers and all.

I'm sure when PB was at Band camp, she even had special waves as well! :whistle:
Glad to see you getting out and doing some riding, you masochistic biker chick you! :ride: :pinch:
What did I do? I rode to Mt Wellington, ended up painting at Games Workshop ... and helping kids out at the painting table! :rofl: Dang! Can't get away from them even if I wanted to!
And half a dozen AC kids wandered by saying "Hi Sir!"
