The Sat practice and Aussie Super Sport , Super Stock, and Super Bikes were great to watch. Hayden Fitzgerald got a 12th and Karl Morgan about 17th in there first race. Tony Rees 10th and Ray Clee 16th . The big screen didnt put up the results again but they all rode well. Andrew Stroud went really well considering his bike wasnt as competive as most of the field. 15th first race and 12th in 2nd race. In the 2nd race restart he got a brilliant start and went from about 16th to finish in 8th . He handled the wet really well and very smooth. The Suzukis are going to take some beating this season. The crowd were really happy for Troy Corser . Its been a while since he got some champagne. Aussie rider to watch is Josh Brooks . Hes beating Krusty Ferguson (04 champ ) in Aussie superbikes and supersport. He will be on world scene soon. Booked a motel room for Moto Gp in Oct. Cheers Toddy

Welcome back Toddy, thanks for the update. It was good racing, and Stroud did so well considering his bike was WAY down on power. thought about you while watching the racing - hope you had a raincoat with you!!

How come you've sold the VTR? Are you replacing it?

We've got our airfares and camper van booked for the GP.

Ive been to the last 3 Middlemarch Rallys. Might have to pass on this one mate. To much to do around here. Im off to the USA, Canada, Alaska for the winter , leaving in about 4 weeks time, might have to pass on the Beaumont and Brass Monkey as well. Got 2 apointments over there. Longest day D2D ( Dust to Dawson ), its a duel sport bikers pissup at Dawson City in the Yukon on weekend closest to the longest Day. I got 6 weeks till fill in before Sturgis. Then home. I ran into 2 Alaskans in Te Anau and said I had always wanted to ride around there and they said cum to the pissup and I said OK. Buying a DR650 off one of them. Pick it up at Pheniox. Probably ride 18 to 20k all up. Cheers Toddy

I got your message that U called in, was in Dunedin for Fashion Week, Jodi our daughter had some flash clothes on the cat walk so had to go, good pissup after. Traded the VTR on a DR650, Ive nearly ridden all the sealed roads in the south Is and wanted a duel sport ( every one should have one ) great fun , got heaps of snot but a bit high geared for off road and crossing rivers. I only hung onto the VTR as I liked it but it was a bit of a bath tub after getting off the new CBR. They had all the flash Ducati Corse helmuts at the trade show. Have u got one of them. If you havnt U can get one at the motogp in Oct. We booked a motel $690 4 nights for 2. It would be good to see Andrew Stroud on a bike as good as the works team . He would be in the top 10. Didnt get wet as we parked at Lukey Heights and the car was 2 rows from the track. Will park there from now on.Cheers Toddy

Yeah, maybe my Anglia might be a bit slow but just don't, repeat don't try and out run my F100 -well not unless you can out-do at least 250kph on the straight to Lumsden! - unless you can beat 265kph+!!

Yip, that straight is a bit down hill mate, old SS would wind off the clock there , this new one has 25k on it and still has the cats in the exhaust and is a bit tight still. So what happened with the ticket you got on the way 2 woodstock, heard a rumor u got of on a technicality, Cheers Toddy
