Hahaha I saw that the other day, thought it was a good idea lol. But then I just went and bought myself some heated grips from Cycletreads on the weekend...
apparently you used to be able to get mittens that fixed to your bars like that and your gloves went in them

I was in China around the end of April, and heaps of the weird scooter things they had over there had those attached.
I think they are actually sold as designed for bikes

What if you need to let go all of a sudden, and 'take hands out of mitten, then stretch out arms' isn't your natural reaction?

40 years of riding including conditions that you never seen here, and never had heated grips or mitten-grips. This is what you get when bikes become trendy and suddenly the part where you feel your environment while on the bike has become something we need to get rid of. HTFU!

They used to have these on the old telegram delivery Hondas in the NZPO 30 years ago. There's a DX post deliverer in this part of Christchurch who uses them too. Makes a lot of sense for those types of jobs.

Wow, another "slow learner". :eek5:
It took me 55 years of riding to learn that the heated grips on my bike actually are good if I use them! :slap:
If it's just because I am getting old, I wish I had got there sooner! :cold:
HTFU translated means: Hey, wait for me, I'm still thinking about it! :shifty:

Some of us just dont like being cold.. whats wrong with that?
I actually like being able to use my hands when I hop off my bike. Hard to do when they are white and numb lol.

No thinking needed. Next you are gonna tell me that there are heated seats, windscreens, additional wheels and doors even just to make biking comfortable.
