SOLD

Fabulous 2000 Aprilia RS250 Race Replica!

A very unique bike to own I have thoroughly enjoyed riding this bike. Selling due to full license and bike upgrade, if only I could keep this in the family!

You only need to do a Google search to know the praise this bike has received.

- 32500 KMS on the clock however: Full top end rebuild completed and two new Powervalves at 25000kms by head mechanic at Motorad Wellington.
- Dunlop GPR-A10's front and back with 3/4 tread
- Venhill Braided Steel brake lines (Front)
- Sintered Brake pads (Front)
- Casey Stoner Gel Pro-Grips
- Talon Steel Front Sprocket (14T)
- Talon Gold Anodised Alloy Rear Sprocket (42T)
- DID Gold coloured Racing Chain
- Replaced Water Pump Hose that had worn down signifcantly and replaced coolant.
- Includes 400mm of Motul 'Mo-cool' coolant additive
- Includes 1L of Motul 710 2T oil
- WOF till end of December
- Will have new 6mth Rego on sale
- Pillion Seat included
- 2x Keys (1 Original and 1 Cut)
- Swingarm bobbins for Service Stand

Small amount of grazing to the lower exhaust silencer from a low slide (Pics to come).

NB: Service stand in photos not included

Always run on Motul 710 2T oil and Motul Gearbox oil with BP 98 Fuel. Gearbox oil changed every 3000kms.

I was in the middle of having the fairings & tank repainted and restickered hence the low low price of $5500.

Please get in touch by PM or cell if you have any queries or to organise viewing (I won't be replying to this thread). Bike is located in Wellington. Photos to come this weekend.

32000 - 25000

You do the math.

The 7000 is on the rebuild.

"Top end rebuild".

On a 2 stroke that's like saying that my XR8 ute had new tyres fitted at 56000 kays and now its at 58 so its only done 2Kay. good fucken deal that.

Ok, so I'm not the only one wondering why people advertise their bike's milage via it's consumables.

Guys, read it as you will. I'm not trying to shaft anyone here. The details are clear. If you are serious and you're interested then you will ask the necessary questions and make your own decision. Have a look on TM and you'll see this is the cheapest '98+ style RS250.

Basically, if you're genuinely interested, give me a buzz, otherwise if you're on here out of curiousity or just to have a go/troll someones thread (*points at Slidemoto*) then go get a clue.

They are nice bikes and this one is well priced.

But the guys do have a point - putting 32,000 kms down as mileage with a note about the rebuild at 25,000 kms is the correct way to do it. (Unless of course all 32,000 kms have been done on a dyno - and a crankshaft one at that...)

Best of luck with the sale - if you are having trouble getting rid off it go see a dealer about having it sold on behalf. Dealer finance makes a huge difference in trying to shift "learner" bikes. If I had the money and the space I would have been interested, great track bike and the perfect platform for a collaboration with the Two Stroke Shop...
