View Full Version : CB125T static advance?

I need to know the static advance on my CB. Anyone know if off the top of their head. I haven't taken the side cover off yet, although it will be slightly difficult to get an accurate reading. Since the pickup sensor is inside the engine cover I have to remove it to measure the advance and by doing so I loose the reference point!

Any help appreciated. Once I get it with a degree or two I can probably get it bang on with a stroboscope.

Get a kick start ;). Save's alot of hassle, take it off when you go racing.

Pretty well, needs a bit more tweaking for next weekend but made the power delivery much smoother now. Still need a timing light to confirm the timing for certain though.
