Just remember cans and plastic bottles, we got kicked out of the pool last time...risk of broken glass in the water. Fair enough I guess.

I got a coupla DVDs from Keith F, and the trailblazer tracks looked superb, and want to get down there at some point. Was it hard slog type mud or could you get some groove going in it? Keen to hear a bit more about it.

Sat was great.........mud mud mud.

There were some serious ruts.

On the first lap of the 40k loop I was going through one of those puddles/slop which did not look very deep, next thing bottom of the forks dug in.......bike stopped almost instantly. I can remember the handle bars going under the sludge as the bike was about to do the complete flip just managed to stop it. My mates had a great laugh!!

The next lap was great, lot easier to pick the lines, shame they closed the track early.

There were a lot of bikes stopped out on the trail.

Did you notice the amount of quads stuck. I never passed a quad all day; the only ones I saw were either parked helping his stuck mates or stuck themselves.

was really mixed there was heaps a sloppy shit and bog holes but nothing that you couldnt get through traction was wicked even with a really worn tyre just hooked up real well. once your in the tracks off the roads the line made by others are real easy to get a good pace on and really allows you to throw it in to the corners.

Only went on saturday and was awesome, had not done an epic event for a while. The 40k loop was rad, thought the 12k loop had more mud in it! Came across a few quads in the way, but not nearly as many as other trail rides Ive been on. Had fun following the old man and bro and watching them struggle on little DRZ and KLX 125's, good for a laugh but they had a blast and made it around.

Was that a big mudhole that had a branch laying in front,a tree to the left and a small ledge to your left to miss the mudhole,it was around a corner so had little time to react.......cause i found that one,the slop came up to my seat and took alot of effort,as i was alone at the time to get out:(

Haha that was the first crash of many..... I had SO MUCH FUN.. the 40km loop was wicked and if you picked the right lines and kept on the gas you could really get in the rhythm and do some awesum ridin' .....

I have never been so muddy....
