Vinning an import?

has anyone vinned an american import that was written off in america.
the bike is in real good condition but not sure wot it will take to vin and rego because of the write off.

If it was written off in the USA, then there will be no record of it here. You will need the original VIN though otherwise there is no way of identifying it precisely.

Just take it down to the compliance guys and see what they say.
