I thought I would post this here in the hope that one of you may be able to help me.

Due to a crash, of which I wont go into, I have need of a master brake cylinder and reservoir for my GS1200SS. I understand that the 1200 Bandit uses the same unit.

If anyone knows of where I may get one of these without going to Suzuki (ie 2nd hand or other make) could they please let me know.

If I have to I will take the lot from a Bandit. Match it with the hydralic clutch unit also. Bandit brake lines mayt help as I am hoping to change this bike into a streetfighter and therefore raise the handlebars.

If I remember correctly my 04 GS1200ss front brakes were identical to a 02-03 Hayabusa.

Looks as though I have just widened my search.

Thanks, he has started advertising more parts so I left a question for him. Real pain not being able to e-mail a trader on TM till an auction is complete.

I've got his phone number if you want? I brought parts off him ages ago for one of my bikes at the time.

Left him my e-mail address written in longhand ie xxxx At xxx dot xxxx dot xx

His phone n umber would be handy.

I partially stripped down the bike this weekend past and discovered more damage.

Stepson really did a job on my bike.

The oil cooler is bent, the front brake master cylinder has been rooted. No way tio attach a lever.

Forks look OK, exhaust is dented and scraped, indicators gone number plate bent, right hand foot peg mount broken, lots of little things.

This bike gets the street fighter treatment. Fairing mounts gone, Headlight mount badly buckled, headlights gone, mirrors gone.

Oh well his mother is helping me buy the parts. It would have been nice if he had ofg offered though.

Now he wonders why I wouldnt let him ride the bike.

 did a job on it didn't he. Wouldn't be slinging his arse on the seat of any of the bikes again for a long time :2guns:

Simon is pretty good with parts so if you get a few through him he'll treat you right.

You'll be doing something like this:

If it was insured I'd tell the cops it was stolen and crashed.Stuff the fact who the culprit is.Mate had his bro in law crash his bike, the prick borrowed it and crashed it writing it off,he was going to tell the cops it was flogged for insurance(which wanker did do steal it),the whanau(bil)said no worries mate we'll pay you,he's still waiting 25yrs later, but didn't marry the woman.
