Please excuse me if this has been posted before, but I though you guys might like this site. (http://www.bikeexif.com)
It has some beautiful photos of custom rides - I believe the writer is in Australia.
I'm loving the Deus SR500 street tracker:

The Track T-800CDI diesel also looks very interesting:

The R80 bobber is nice - the text says the detailing is exquisite.....and he leaves the dorky US side reflectors on the forks!

Have you checked out Deus Machina shop in Auckland Motu?.........Design is inspiring, execution unlikely to impress.

Exactly what it says. Attention to detail is lacking, paint scratches, burred fasteners, old original parts mixed with new painted parts etc.
Great marketing exercise, fantastic feel to their shop in Auckland, clothing is something that will attract attention for sure.......but if the bikes in their show room are representative, I think they may struggle. For the price they charge a lift in quality is essential.

Just popped in there 5 mins ago and I know what you mean.
Seems like poserville as far as the clothing and gear goes, but otherwise it could become a good hangout.
Good idea.
...that is after I found the darn thing.

I hate what they do to bikes.

True - but generally these are well done examples. Not a major custom chopper fan myself but there are plenty of bikes that are not worth restoring that can be given a second life (until they are worth restoring)
