Just registered with the site so hi from me. I went to the Paeroa street racing this year (my first time) I'm over from Australia and couldn't believe how mad it was, I had the best time. Anyway my dad's coming over from the UK in Feb next year and I don't want him to miss it being an ol' bikie an all so I was hoping someone could confirm the 2010 date for me before I get him to book airfares etc.
Cheers

Haha if you stay on KB for a while you will (in about 2 days of reading the threads) realise the "conversations" going on here are all but normal, some are normal, but most are not.

And to answer yo question.... I don't know... :bleh:

February 5/6/7, Pukekohe. That really is an event not to miss. Classic bikes and riders from around the world and the bikes get used like they were intended to. Have a look here: http://rides.webshots.com/album/61198848WxRPyX at some of the bikes they get there!

I know when the next Battle Of The Streets Paeroa Street Racing Day is it is on the 21st of Febuary that's a Sunday I know this for sure because Max and I booked our room last year in the Hotel we stay in.I have to ph the owner up in January to tell her if we are coming for sure and I find out the date the racing is cause I work.

But i've alway's taken that day off for the racing anyway we have never missed a year.Last year it cost $25 to get into the circut if I can remember right it was $20 for a shirt to.

Hope that's helpful for you

Brownys Brewery and Motocycle Museum is on SH2 between KatiKati and Tauranga.
Browny is offering free overnight camping Friday and Saturday night for the Paeroa Battle of the Streets.
there are toilets, showers, big screen TV, the bar , food Security for your bikes - just bring your camping gear. he is doing a bikers big breakfast for $6.00 each both mornings. well worth it !
See my thread on the place - with photos elsewhere!
