I realise Campbell live is full of shit..

BUT.. there's a fat man on there that's been living in a 'Housing NZ' house for four and a half years, complaining about the cold. Children with sniffly noses for years, etc.

If he's been in there THAT long, why hasn't he bought heaters for all the rooms? Why hasn't he spent some of the money that he's clearly spent on his own food on things more important??

If they've been in there that long, why hasn't one of them cleaned up the fucking mould?? Fucking tramps.

I don't watch TV (I assume 'Campbell live' is a TV show) so i don't know the detail.

But, has he made snakes to put against doors to stop draughts? Does he have a fireplace?

. And mould is easily enough dealt to. Soap, water, bleach. If there's mould , it's because he's a lazy bludger (assuming he's able bodied, or someone in the family is )

If your post was a dig at my earlier post re the above I am not low income and I don't do any of the other things in your post.
I merely meant that rather than legislating about what people should and should not eat perhaps the government would be better removing this tax so that people could afford to make healthy choices.

Tap water costs bugger all a litre. It is surprising how much tasty, nutritious food can be produced from surprisingly few dollars by shopping wisely, growing some vegies, and cooking one's own food.

Milk costs what milk costs, coke costs what coke costs. The issue is that some people aren't smart enough to know the nutritional difference between different sorts of liquids. Most of the world's population is lactose intolerant, so the essentialness of milk to children's health argument is largely bogus. And the GST on food issue is a red herring.
